The nonprofit Wayland Community Sports Center (WCSC) seeks to support the Wayland community’s diverse recreational needs by leveraging private donations to build and operate a dynamic multi-purpose indoor sports and community facility at the site of the former Wayland DPW (195 Main St).

We propose building a state-of-the-art facility under a nonprofit structure that would reap multiple benefits for our Town.

By forming a Nonprofit, the Town of Wayland retains control and creates a self-sustaining organization that provides low-cost facilities and eventually generates revenue for youth sports. Once profitable, 10% of the facility’s profits will be shared with Wayland each year. 

WCSC seeks no funding from the Town, only access to repurpose the vacant space.
